Earning our own money AND for Breast Cancer HELP! Teenage Girls!?

There is a group of my friends and I, six of us all together, trying to raise money. We want to get this tent but it's two hundred sixty dollars. Social security glitch, have I been overpaid?

I know no one can give me a definite answer. Back in March my daughter's father passed away, we were told that she would be entitled to a survivor benefit, which was okay. EDD denied my FED-Ed Extension?

I received a letter from EDD couple days ago notifying me that I have exhausted my claims and that I do not qualify for FED-ED extension to to the following reason, “You do not have earnings in excess of 40 times your weekly benefits amount or 1.5 times the highest quarter in the base period of your regular claim dated 06/06/2010.” Now this does not make sense. I called EDD and asked about it and they said your claim was refreshed in 2010 (I first applied for UI benifits in 2009, not 2010) and you did not make $ 18,000 (which would be my 40X450=18000 base period income) so you don't qualify? I mean are these people gone insane? I have been unemployed and looking for jobs desperately throughout whole 2010 with no luck and they expect me to make that amount from where? I am so confused and am about to appeal against the decision. Just wanted to know if anyone went through same crap and what was the result of all this. It comes randomly, and it's kinda hard to explain. I just get the feeling a particular thing is going to happen and 80% of the time it does. Is the Britax Frontier 85 to big?

I got one at Home Depot. It ran twice and died. My son-in-law took it back to them because I had mailed in the warranty which I think was good for two years, and they fixed it and returned it to me. Cold turkey seizures from lamictal/welbutrin?

Direct TV stole my money! Who can I contact?

We were late on Direct TV and they decided to take money out of every account we ever used without our authorization, and bounced 2 checks in the process. I put in a dispute with the bank, and they credited the account back temporarily. Then I called Direct TV, they confirmed the charges were reversed, and I paid the account in full, including the money they took out without our permission. You probably know that Alberta weather is completely unpredictable. Ski/snowboard season is over at the end of April/May. I go to Banff all the time, and I am planning my last snowboard trip next week. I live about 30 minutes from Banff. The snow will probably be gone by May. The weather is usually cool, but I doubt it would be very cold. Every time I have gone hiking in the mountains in May I am good with some pants and a sweater. It's possible for the trails to be icy since the sun does not go through the trees as easily. As for the water, I really have no idea. Some days the lakes look green, while other days they are bright blue, dark blue, or a dark ugly colour. I have rarely seen the lakes that turquoise colour, but when they are, the weather is nice and warm.

I think the way Vince is running his business i see it at bankruptcy maybe in 10 years. I really do. I've looked at the company's fundamentals and earnings and i can honestly say annually and quarterly the company is going done the tubes. Blacking out while on minocycline?

i've just started taking minocycline for acne on my face for two days. i also apply edpiduo cream on my face several minutes before i go to bed. i take one minocycline antibiotic when i wake up and another several hours before bed (since you can't lie down after taking it). i do eat a snack before each pill (my dermotologist requested i do so) and swallow it with plenty of water. this morning (the third day i will be on minocycline) i woke up with terrible stomach pains/nausea. i decided to get up after dealing with the pain by lying in bed for half an hour. i got up slow, looked in the mirror, saw i was extremely pale, and then blacked out. i managed to lie down before i completely lost my balance. once i laid down, the ringing in my ears was awful for several minutes. this has happened to me once before a while ago, but i wasn't on any antibiotics or anything. for now, i'm going to drink like a fish and still take the pill; however, if any new side effects occur, i'm calling my derm. i'm unsure wether the ringing in my ears (since that is a specific side effect listed on the bottle) or blacking out is from the drug, or if it's from some stomach bug. has anyone who took minocycline had this problem? thanks for your feedback!

To be fair the GOP has always been 'more' of a friend of industry and bankers then the democrats, but the democrats have never shied away from a 'deal' with these people either. However, since the 1980's when American corporations transmogrified into TRANS NATIONAL corporations all of that changed. Basically the current GOP/Teabag/Fox 'News'/Jesus freak party serves ONLY the interests of an ever smaller number of massive trans nationals. The trans nationals, except for 'brand names' are no longer American...they are almost nations themselves and their interests are not the American wage earner. They've moved on. China has over a billion consumers as does India. The US has 300 million consumers....that's why these companies are there. The US is at best a niche market. The trade rules put into place by the trans nationals have put the US at a disadvantage. A chinese worker makes $350.00 a month. No American could live on three times that and maintain a middle class existence. As this plays out the US worker will be poor, mostly jobless and living in a country not a lot different from Mexico. 5% of the population will own 95% of everything worth owning and the 95% will be coolies and peons. Not right away. 90% of Americans are still working though at reduced pay and in the face of rising prices. The population is growing faster than job growth and the social safety net is on its way out. All of the BS talk about who's at fault doesn't ask the real question...how has world economy changed? It's changed because we've passed from American corporations in a world where we had no real competition to a 'world economy' dominated by a trans national corporate power. Once we accept this reality we could find a way to deal with our oncoming poverty. To solve a problem you have to admit there is a problem. What should I do about shady financial practices by my employer?

Currently, I am employed as a server in a local restaurant. Unlike every other restaurant I've ever worked in, this particular one chooses to disperse our credit card tips in our weekly paycheck as opposed to receiving all our tips in cash (credit card included) at the end of every night. This particular part doesn't really bother me because as long as I get all of my money it doesn't matter to me what the form. The problem is with the system used to calculate the tips and transfer them to the paychecks. When I started working there, fellow servers encouraged me to keep thorough records of what I made every night in case there was ever a discrepancy in my check amounts. At first I didn't think much of it but almost every week since I've been there at least one server has had tips missing from their check. They take their individual reports to management, who promises to fix it but some people wait months for this to happen. One server recently told me about a conversation she had with the employee in charge of the payroll who seemed surprised that she kept track of her tips because "alot of people don't" (supposedly said with a grin indicating that the company may be fully aware of these "mistakes"). Also, I recently had my own issue of them accidentally clocking in an employee under my number so that her tips technically went to me for the night and then showed up on my paycheck. They told me that the only thing I could do would be to write her a check for the tips for that night, which makes sense if you don't consider taxes or the fact that those earnings are going to be reported on my income statement. Couldn't they have just withheld the tips from my next paycheck, reimbursed me for the taxes, then credited her on her next check? They've been "cleaning house" lately and I need the job so I don't want to complain to management, but it would be so nice for someone unaffiliated with the company to take a look at their financial practices, I do suspect illegal activity but I could definitely just be seen as a disgruntled employee by anyone in power and I'm not really sure what to do.
