How can I get my parents to let me go to the beach?

So I'm 16 years old, and school is ending next tuesday for me. The next day, wednesday, my friend, who's 17, and I want to go to to Sandy Hook (a beach) for the day. It's about an hour and a half away from where we live, and we would be leaving at 9 or 10 in the morning and getting back around 8 or 9 at night. I don't think it's that ridiculous considering she has riven over two hours on the parkway by herself on multiple occasions, and she drives me everywhere. However, I feel like my parents will say no because the shore is over an hour away. How can I persuade them to let me goooo?
